Who we are

Apex Waste Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17025745, with its registered office at 37 Bull Street, Holt, England, NR25 6HP. We are an Upper Tier registered waste carrier, broker and dealer, licence CBDU639306.

We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. If you have a question about any of it, or you want us to stop contacting you, contact us using the details at the bottom of this page.

How we got your details

If we contacted you by email without you having approached us first, we obtained your business contact details from one or more of these sources:

• Your company website or its publicly listed contact address
• Publicly available business directories and industry listings
• Companies House and other public registers
• Business contact data providers who supply details for B2B marketing

We contact businesses about commercial waste services on the basis of our legitimate interests in marketing a relevant business service to other businesses, as allowed under UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f) and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. We only contact corporate subscribers, meaning limited companies and other corporate bodies, at their business addresses.

We do not buy or use consumer contact lists, and we do not contact people at personal email addresses about our services.

If you do not want to hear from us again, reply to any email we have sent and say so, or contact us using the details at the bottom of this page. We will remove you and record enough information to make sure we do not contact you again by mistake. There is no need to give a reason and it takes effect straight away.

Information we collect

When you fill in the quote form on this site we collect:

• Your name
• Your company name
• Your email address
• Your phone number
• The type of business you run, if you tell us
• Anything you write in the message field

We use this to reply to your enquiry, prepare a price, and set up a service if you decide to go ahead. We do not add quote enquiries to a marketing list.

If we already hold your business contact details because we contacted you, that is limited to your name, job title, company, business email address, business phone number and the source we obtained them from.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not use cookies. That is why there is no cookie banner. We are not being clever about it, we simply do not need them.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and does not track you between websites or build a profile of you. We see totals, not people. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or any other third-party tracking.

Who we share information with

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:

• Vercel, who host this website and provide the cookieless analytics described above
• Resend, who deliver the email notification when you submit the enquiry form
• Our email provider, for the correspondence itself

We will also disclose information where we are legally required to, including waste duty of care record keeping if you become a customer.

How long we keep it

Quote enquiries are kept for two years from your last contact with us, so we have a record of what was quoted. If you become a customer, we keep the records for as long as the law requires for waste duty of care and accounting purposes, which is currently six years after the service ends. If you ask us not to contact you again, we keep the minimum record needed to honour that, indefinitely.

Your rights

You have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to us using it for marketing, and to ask us to restrict how we use it. We will respond within one month.

If you are not happy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or by calling 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.
