Commercial waste collection for UK businesses

Collections that turn up, paperwork that stays current, and a named contact who can make a decision without escalating it.

  • Licensed waste carrier
  • UK-wide coverage
  • We handle the switch

What we collect

Every stream your site produces

One provider, one schedule, one set of paperwork. Tell us what you have and we will size the containers and the frequency around it.

  • General waste

Your everyday non-recyclable waste, collected on a fixed schedule.

  • Dry mixed recycling

Plastics, cans, and paper in one bin. Less sorting for your staff.

  • Food waste

Separate food collections, which most businesses now have to arrange.

  • Glass

Bottle and jar collections sized for hospitality volumes.

  • Cardboard and paper

Baled or loose, on a frequency that matches your delivery cycle.

  • Clinical and hazardous

Handled under the right consignment paperwork, with full documentation.

Why us

The service is the difference

The nationals are built for scale, which is why a missed collection becomes a ticket and a change to your service becomes a contract variation. We are built the other way round. You get a named contact who knows your sites, and things get dealt with on the call rather than logged.

UK-wide coverage

We arrange collections for sites anywhere in the UK, including multi-site businesses on one account.

A real person, same day

Answered the same working day by someone who knows your account and can make a decision without escalating it.

Problems fixed, not logged

A missed collection gets put right rather than raised as a case and picked up on the next scheduled round.

Changes take a phone call

Resizing a container or moving to a different frequency is a conversation, not a contract variation that takes weeks to process.

Switching

Changing provider takes one conversation

The reason most businesses stay on a bad contract is that moving sounds like work. It is not, because we do the moving.

  1. 1

    Book a waste audit

A short call to go through what you produce, how often it is collected, and what you pay for it now.

  2. 2

    We handle the changeover

We give notice to your existing provider, arrange bin swaps, and set the collection dates.

  3. 3

    Collections start

Your new schedule begins. Duty of care paperwork is issued and kept current.

One provider, one schedule, one invoice, whether you run a single site or forty of them.

Multi-site businesses usually inherit a different provider at every location. We consolidate them onto one account without changing what happens on the ground.

Pricing

What you are actually paying for

Commercial waste invoices are made of five things. Most quotes only show you two of them, which is how a cheap headline rate turns into a bill that is anything but.

We itemise all five, so the number you compare against your current invoice is the number you will pay.

  1. Container rental

A standing charge for the bin itself, usually billed monthly whether or not it is full.

  2. Lift charge

What you pay each time a container is emptied. The number of lifts, not the volume, drives most invoices.

  3. Weight and disposal

Tonnage over an included allowance, plus the gate fee at the facility. Landfill tax applies to anything that ends up there.

  4. Contamination charges

Levied when the wrong material turns up in a recycling container. Worth knowing the rate before you sign, not after.

  5. Access and admin fees

Failed access, missed collections, and contract administration. These are where an apparently cheap quote usually catches up with you.

Savings

Where businesses overpay

Almost nobody is overpaying because they were sold a bad rate. They are overpaying because the arrangement was set up years ago and nothing has been looked at since.

  • The contract renewed itself

Most agreements roll over automatically and rise each year. The uplift arrives in a letter nobody reads, and it compounds.

  • The container is the wrong size

Too big and you are paying to have empty space collected. Too small and it overflows, which brings side waste charges and ad-hoc collections. Most were sized for the business you were when you signed and never revisited.

  • Collections you do not need

The lift charge applies whether the container is full or half empty. Dropping from weekly to fortnightly is often the single biggest saving.

  • Everything going in as general waste

General waste carries disposal costs and landfill tax that segregated cardboard, glass and food do not. Splitting the streams usually costs less than not splitting them.

  • Fees that appeared over time

Admin charges, environmental levies and carbon surcharges tend to arrive quietly between renewals and stay.

  • Every site buying separately

Multi-site businesses often end up with a different provider and a different rate at each location, and no one comparing them.

The call goes through each of these against your current setup.

Compliance

The paperwork is the service

Your duty of care does not transfer to whoever takes the waste away. It stays with you, which means the records matter as much as the collection does.

Waste transfer notes

You get documentation for every collection, covering your duty of care under the Environmental Protection Act.

Annual documentation

Season tickets and annual transfer notes kept current, so an inspection does not turn into a scramble.

Consignment notes

Hazardous and clinical waste moves under the right consignment paperwork, with copies retained.

Who we collect for

Different sectors produce different waste, on different schedules. We size the service to what your site actually generates.

  • Hospitality
  • Care homes
  • Construction
  • Retail
  • Offices
  • Manufacturing
  • Schools
  • Property management

Questions

The things people ask before they switch

Are you actually licensed to carry waste?

Yes. We are registered with the Environment Agency as an Upper Tier waste carrier, broker and dealer under licence CBDU639306, which is listed on the public register.

What happens on the waste audit?

It is a phone call, not a site inspection. We go through what your business produces, how often it is collected and what you are paying now, then work out the right container sizes and collection frequency for you. You get a price at the end of it. There is no obligation and nobody turns up at your door.

I am already under contract. Can I still switch?

Usually, yes. Most commercial waste contracts run on a fixed term with a notice period of between one and three months, and many renew automatically if that notice is missed. Send us your current agreement and we will tell you when your window is, then work to that date rather than asking you to break the contract.

How quickly can collections start?

Once the paperwork is signed, we normally have containers on site and collections running within two weeks. Where you are keeping your existing containers it can be quicker, because there is nothing to deliver.

Do you cover my area?

We arrange collections across the UK, including businesses with several sites in different regions on one account and one invoice. Give us the postcodes and we will confirm before quoting.

Do I have to change my bins?

Not always. In many cases the existing containers stay where they are and only the collection changes. Where a swap is needed we arrange it as part of the changeover, at a time that does not interrupt you.

What paperwork do I get?

Waste transfer documentation for every collection, and consignment notes where hazardous or clinical waste is involved. This is what an inspector asks for, and keeping it current is our job rather than yours.

What happens if a collection is missed?

You call the person who handles your account and we rebook it. There is no ticket queue and no automated line to work through, which is the practical difference between us and a national.

Will the price go up every year?

Annual uplifts are normal across this industry and anyone who tells you otherwise is not being straight with you. What matters is whether the uplift is defined in the contract or left open. Ask us, and ask whoever you are with now, to put the mechanism in writing before you sign.

What you produce now

Which streams, roughly what volume, and how often each container is emptied.

The right container and frequency

Most businesses are on a container too big, emptied too often, or both. That is where the saving usually is.
